You know your horse better than anyone else, and often it is difficult to pinpoint the reasons you feel something is “just not quite right”. Maybe he just isn't going quite as well as usual, or suddenly seems stiffer on one rein than the other.

Bowen therapy is a very effective hands on remedial treatment that works over key neuro – muscular points on the body to promote healing, physical realignment and pain relief without manipulation or adjustment of hard tissue.

It helps to maintain and enhance performance, health and fitness, prevent injury and detect subtle changes in the musculoskeletal system before they lead to chronic conditions.

What is Bowen Therapy?

Bowen Therapy is a very effective, non-invasive form of bodywork therapy.  It involves no manipulation, it is gentle, supportive and suitable for everyone, be they human or equine

Bowen Therapy is a powerful tool that:

  • Deals with the root cause of the disorder as well as symptoms
  • Is gentle and works with the body
  • Helps to improve wind, flexibility and muscle tone
  • Increases energy and fine-tunes the body
  • Helps to realign musculo-skeletal problems and normalise the body systems

When looking for a Bowen Therapist, ensure they are a Registered Practitioner:
